My name is Tony and I live in the San Francisco Bay Area (West Contra Costa County).
I had no interest in BF nor considered the possibility of it being a real creature until about 2011. That is when 2 researcher friends from Utah disclosed their encounters and took me to their encounter locations in the High Uintah mountains.
In 2013, I went to my first BFRO expedition to Bluff Creek, CA and started to learn about the value and benefits of thermal imagers. Since then, I have joined other BFRO expeditions in order to learn from others and to explore new locations.
In 2014, during a solo backpack into Sycamore Canyon (Arizona), I had a daylight and close encounter with what I think was one of these creatures. After this incident, I decided to spend more of my free time looking for evidence (mainly thermal video and audio).
Most of my investigations are in the high Sierra Nevada and in the Siskiyou Wilderness in California.
